Garden Explorers February: Art in the Outdoors!

Join us for a special in-person celebration of Olivewood's impact and future growth! Guests will forage the gardens for Olivewood-inspired cocktails and drinks, while feasting on a delectable spread of tasty eats created by Olivewood Kitchenistas® and local chefs. Roam the garden for hands-on and mission-oriented activities, while we hold a silent auction with fun experiences, gifts, and wares to bid on. Don't forget to stay for the seated dessert & live auction, live music, and dancing!

We welcome your young ones to join us in person at Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center for our June Chefcitos class, Classics Turned Vegilicious! We'll be exploring some of our favorite tastes, textures and techniques with simple, fresh ingredients for an engaging hands-on class in the kitchen! Chefcitos (ages 5-14) will be chopping, mixing and dipping to create Vegilicious Fettuccine Alfredo & Caesar Salad that they can take home and share with their families! Join us at Olivewood to cook fun, hands-on & healthy recipes while learning new types of cuisine!

Summer means outdoor BBQs, grilling, enjoying the longer days and trying new things. Are you ready to get outside and start grilling new and exciting meals? Come join us at the garden for our Summer Grilling Class held in our outdoor kitchen to grill up some seasonal summer favorites, soak in the sunny day, and learn a thing or two!

Join our Director of Development, Claire Groebner for an in-person walking tour of Olivewood Gardens and a sit-down Q & A for an opportunity to learn more about the ins and outs of our programs! Bring your lunch and visit us in the garden to get the insider perspective on exciting things on the horizon, ways we are learning to pivot our services to cater to the needs of our community amidst COVID-19, how you can get involved, and connect personally with our incredible Director of Development! A snack of hummus & fresh veggies will be provided.
