Family Classes

Join us for family fun in the kitchen or garden!

Spend quality time with your child while learning new skills to take home. Throughout the year, we offer family gardening classes as well as family cooking classes in the teaching kitchen.

Cost: Varies depending on the class

Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend the class and would like a refund, notify us at least 5 days prior to the scheduled class. We are unable to refund cancellations made within 5 days of the class, given staff time and material purchases.

Private Groups: Reservations can be made for groups with a minimum of 5 adult/child pairs and are scheduled based on availability. For private groups, please contact Morgan, at [email protected].

Our family cooking classes are back! Join us for the first class of our family cooking class summer series. In this class, we’ll be making dough, homemade sauce and chopping garden veggies to create delicious veggie pizzas on the grill together. Join us to connect as a family and learn a new recipe together in the kitchen for hands-on dinner experience! Each ticket includes one adult and one child (K-6th grade).

In this class, we’ll explore a fun way to include many different veggies on your plate – vegetable fritters with a dip! These are hands-on and often a crowd-pleaser for those who don’t always prefer vegetables. This class is an opportunity to connect as a family and learn together in the kitchen while building skills, confidence and adventurous eating habits – plus you’ll make a delicious dinner! Our family cooking classes are back! Join us for the final class of our summer series. We’ll be making an Olivewood famous recipe – Happy Rice along with vegetable dumplings. Happy Rice is my #1 trick for introducing kids to new vegetables, or re-introducing them to vegetables that they previously haven’t liked. It’s an easy week-night staple dinner recipe, along with dumplings, which are hands-on and a great thing to prep now and cook later. This class will be a fun way to connect as a family and learn together in the kitchen, building skills and confidence while practicing adventurous eating habits – plus you’ll make yourself a delicious dinner! Each ticket includes one adult and one child (K-6th grade).
