Join Olivewood, National Association of Hispanic Journalists and Olivewood Kitchenista Rosamaria for "Rosamaria's Culinary Traditions: Virtual Cooking Class" scheduled for Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM! We will cook along with Kitchenista Rosamaria as we learn about healthy twists she created for her traditional recipes. Menu: Mexican Chipotle Garbanzo Soup Tinga-Style Mushrooms and Spiced Sopes with Pickled Onions

This class will focus on STONE FRUIT! This seasonally delicious fruit will be the All-Star featured ingredient. Learn how to make sweet and savory recipes with stone fruit while enjoying the afternoon at beautiful Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center. We'll make Bellini mocktails (or bring your own bubbles), Grilled Stone fruit Caprese Salad, Creamy Chickpea Cherry Pinwheels & Baked Plum Crisp. Participants will go home with new skills and recipes to recreate this fun and uncomplicated dish - space is limited so get your tickets fast!

Join us for Day of Play 2021, a FREE community outdoor event for the whole family to learn, grow, and make nourishing decisions together. In this fun outdoor event, families will participate in nutrition & gardening activities, take-home crafts, fun, physical activities & games, cooking demonstrations from the "Kitchenistas," raffle prizes from our sponsors & more! While this event will be held in-person, to promote maximum social distancing, we ask you to sign your family up for a specific time slot using the form below and ensure all family members wear a mask while on premises.
