Join us for our monthly Open Gardens and Property Tour! You’ll learn about the history of the property, Olivewood programming, and more! This tour takes place on natural surfaces such as dirt and mulch so please wear appropriate shoes. Tours at 10:15AM & 11:15AM. No registration required.

Vietnamese Cooking Class

Join us for a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class featuring Guest Chef Dr. Kevin Young! Using fresh garden vegetables, we’ll prepare vermicelli coconut curry soup and vibrant spring rolls.

Dr. Young, a licensed Acupuncturist specializing in Eastern Nutrition, combines food, health, and culture to promote wellness. Inspired by his Buddhist traditions, he reimagines classic dishes into nutritious vegetarian delights.

Spring Adventure Day Camp 2025

Join us for an all-day spring program at Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center for children K – 6th grade. Talls & Smalls April

Do you want your little one to form a love and curiosity around nature? Join us for this month’s Talls and Smalls adventure in the garden! Spend quality time exploring plants, animals and the environment with your little (ages 2-5). We can’t wait to see you! This class is funded in part, for a limited time, by First 5 San Diego.

April Garden Explorers: Bugs in the Garden! SOLD OUT!

Does your child want to be involved in the kitchen? Or do they have a hard time trying new foods? Send them to learn new skills and expand their taste buds at our monthly Chefcitos classes! Students in K-6th grade will enjoy a hands-on garden-to-kitchen cooking experience hosted in our teaching kitchen. This month’s recipe line up will feature fun Spring themed snacks using nutritious and delicious ingredients!
