As summer winds down and the weather shifts to fall, the garden undergoes a series of changes! In this program focused on teaching kids how to grow a garden, your little one will participate in an exciting and interactive garden explorers class where participants will explore Olivewood, do a few gardening activities and enjoy a garden snack and craft! Join us for a fun, hands-on cooking adventure where kids will harvest fresh veggies from the garden, fire up the grill to make their own delicious veggie pizzas, and discover the joy of cooking together. Along the way, they'll build confidence in the kitchen, practice teamwork, and develop adventurous eating habits by trying fresh, seasonal ingredients they helped pick and prepare! Acompáñanos en una divertida aventura culinaria en la que los niños recogerán verduras frescas del huerto, encenderán la barbacoa para preparar sus propias y deliciosas pizzas vegetarianas y descubrirán la alegría de cocinar juntos. Join us for our monthly Open Gardens and Property Tour! You’ll learn about the history of the property, Olivewood programming, and more! This tour takes place on natural surfaces such as dirt and mulch so please wear appropriate shoes. Tours at 10:15AM & 11:15AM. No registration required.
