Spring into learning! 🌱🍓 Our Spring Day Camp for K–6th graders features hands-on cooking and exploratory gardening. Campers will explore, create, and taste as they learn. Join us for a day full of fun, curiosity, and outdoor adventure!

Did you know that outdoor play has long-lasting benefits for both children and adults? Join us this month for Talls and Smalls, an outdoor adventure in the garden for ages 2-5 with an accompanying adult! Activities include: story time, a farm-to-table snack, a visit to one of our critters & time exploring the garden while tasting and learning together! Come spend quality time in nature with your little one while building a love for our environment and adventurous eating habits.

Featuring  Chef Raymundo Mendoza of Quixote Restaurant and the Olivewood Kitchenistas Catering Team! 

Born and raised between San Diego and Tijuana, Chef Raymundo Mendoza brings over 14 years of experience blending heritage, technique, and elevated comfort—drawing inspiration from street tacos and Chinese takeout to family carne asadas and classic American burgers. A Chef Dad and Executive Chef for CH Projects, he channels the flavors of Baja and San Diego into food that tells a story, connects cultures, and continues to shape his evolving culinary path. Together the Kitchenista Catering Team & Chef Raymundo will craft a garden-inspired menu that highlights seasonal ingredients and their distinctive culinary talents all in a beautiful setting under the stars.

Sign your little one up for a morning of bug hunting and exploration! For Earth Month, you'll get to harvest and take home some seasonal fruits & veggies! Saturday, April 11th 9:30am-11:30am.

We will work together to make this delicious meal and a special drink! Children in grades K-6 are invited to become adventurous eaters, learning kitchen skills and building confidence in the kitchen with us! Join us for our monthly Open Gardens and Property Tour! You’ll learn about the history of the property, Olivewood programming, and more! This tour takes place on natural surfaces such as dirt and mulch so please wear appropriate shoes. Tours at 10:15AM & 11:15AM. No registration required.

Our family cooking classes are back with a special recipe: Veggie Sushi! This class is a way to connect as a family and come together in the kitchen. We hope you join our educator for a fun, hands-on class that will result in a delicious dinner of veggie sushi & exciting sides! This class requires one adult to accompany one child (K-6th grade). You and your little one will both create your own sushi.
