Olivewood Gardens’ December Clubhouse

Sweater Weather – enjoy a warm drink and make a warm sweet or savory toast snack. Make a nature themed holiday treat to take home and keep or gift. Spend time hanging out with new friends and old friends.
There is no schedule…come and do our activity and/or make some food and/or just hang out with great company! We will have a list of fun upcoming opportunities for high school students, too. Olivewood Gardens’ Clubhouse will be open for high school students every 4th Wednesday of the month with a new theme every month!

High School Clubhouse: January

Are you in High School? Know someone that is? Come out to our FREE HS Clubhouse every last Wednesday of every month. Our monthly clubhouse for HS students gives you the opportunity to build your own seasonal snacks, be creative outdoors and become familiar with Olivewood and your peers. January will be Terrariums & Tacos!

Valentine’s Date Night with Chef Christina Ng

Treat your special someone to a romantic evening at Olivewood Gardens this Valentine’s Day. Learn how to make a simple, yet delectable component of your meal with your sweetheart and enjoy a delicious, seasonal meal created by Chef Christina Ng of Chinita’s Pies! There will be two time slots available starting at 4PM and 6:30PM.

Knife Skills Class

Quarterly Lunch & Learn with Executive Director, Jen Nation

Bring your lunch and visit us in the garden to get the insider perspective on exciting things on the horizon, ways we are learning to pivot our services to cater to the needs of our community amidst COVID-19, how you can get involved, and connect personally with our incredible Executive Director! Build-A-Bowl: Soup & Salad Class

Start the new year with new recipes and an inspiring plant based meal. Warm up at the garden with a creative build-a-bowl soup recipe, a dazzling garden fresh salad with dressing and an easy gluten free cracker recipe that is so tasty people won’t believe it’s homemade! Join us on Saturday March 12th from 3:30-5:30 at the Garden.

Chefcitos!

Join us in the Spring time garden to make delicious green goodies! We’ll be making a healthy green shamrock shake & avocado ranch with oven-baked sweet potatoes and fresh cut veggies to dip with.Chefcitos will chop, blend, and season their own creations while learning how to make green goodies together. Chefcitos is for all youth ages 5 – 14. This will be an in-person cooking class and we’re excited to host your child back at the gardens!

Produce Stand!

Join us for the first donation-based produce stand this year! Olivewood Gardens hosts a produce stand Thursdays at 10am with a variety of freshly harvested fruits and veggies. This is a donation-based produce stand where you pay what you can. The produce stand is open until supplies run out.
