Come join us at the garden for our Summer Grilling Class held in our outdoor kitchen to grill up some seasonal summer favorites, soak in the sunny day, and learn a thing or two!

Bring your lunch and visit us in the garden to get the insider perspective on exciting things on the horizon, ways we are learning to pivot our services to cater to the needs of our community amidst COVID-19, how you can get involved, and connect personally with our incredible Director of Development! Chefcitos: Taco-Bout A Party! (SOLD OUT)

Join us for this month’s Chefcitos class where we will be creating some delicious tacos using seasonal ingredients from our very own gardens here at Olivewood. We can’t have a taco party without homemade guacamole and salsa too! Chefcitos (ages5-14) are encouraged to sign up for a fun Saturday morning with recipes they can take home and share with their families!
Olivewood’s Grilled Fish Class

San Diego has a rich fishing history & community and we want to honor that with Olivewood’s Grilled Fish Class. This class will focus on locally caught, seasonal fish and farm fresh recipes. We’ll give you tips on where to source local fish and how to cook it using a grill with great recipes for any summer BBQ!

We welcome your young ones to join us in person at Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center for our September Chefcitos class, Rice & Rolls! In this month’s Chefcitos class, we’ll be making delicious Veggie-filled Fried Rice and Fresh Spring Rolls with a Homemade Peanut Sauce for dipping! Chefcitos (ages 5-14) will be chopping, mixing and dipping to create some delicious recipes that they can take home and share with their families!
