Welcome all K-6th graders to Olivewood Gardens Garden Explorers: Petal Power! Come to the garden to celebrate your love of nature with exploration, art making, and a snack. Bring your excitement and jackets because we will be enjoying our time outside!

Join us this month for a Valentine’s snack themed Chefcitos class! We’ll work together to make delicious snacks using produce from our garden. Children in grades K-6 are invited to become adventurous eaters, learning kitchen skills and building confidence in the kitchen with us! Register for a spot today, spaces are limited.

There will be two time slots available starting at 5PM and 7:30PM. There will be a short demo with the chef before the seating and dinner. This will be an in-person event for adults and we’re excited to host you at the gardens!

Join us for the first Garden at Dusk Dinner of the year at Olivewood Gardens, a unique San Diego farm-to-table dinner event set beneath the stars. This special evening features an exciting collaboration between Olivewood and a featured chef, who will create a garden-inspired menu showcasing seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and their distinct culinary talents. Guests will enjoy a beautiful outdoor dining experience with curated beverages and live music to be announced soon. Our family cooking classes are back with a special recipe: Veggie Sushi! This class is a way to connect as a family and come together in the kitchen. We hope you join our educator for a fun, hands-on class that will result in a delicious dinner of veggie sushi & exciting sides! This class requires one adult to accompany one child (K-6th grade). You and your little one will both create your own sushi.

Celebrate Mother’s Day in the heart of the garden as we honor all the incredible mother figures who nurture, inspire, and uplift us. Join us at Olivewood Gardens for a memorable Mother’s Day Garden Brunch featuring a seasonal, garden-inspired plated meal paired with a refreshing, curated spritzer.

Guests will enjoy a beautiful outdoor experience surrounded by blooming gardens, hands-on activities, and time together. Create your own build-a-bouquet using flowers foraged directly from the garden, and craft a heartfelt card with wild, garden-grown plants—perfect for honoring the special people in your life.
